Job summary

Nebuly is a fast-growing startup helping enterprises deploy AI insights safely and effectively. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will deploy Nebuly in customer environments, maintain health, and ensure customers stay on the latest release.

You will coordinate with customers’ infrastructure teams, build Terraform modules, and operate Nebuly on Kubernetes clusters across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem setups. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, platform, infrastructure, or cloud engineering roles.
• Strong, hands-on Terraform experience. You write and structure modules, manage state across environments, and read/adapt others’ code.
• Strong, hands-on Kubernetes experience. You deploy and debug workloads in production, and you're fluent with Helm, networking, ingress, storage, RBAC, and upgrades.
• Solid experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and willingness to work across all three.
• Excellent English communication: explain technical problems clearly to customer teams and run calls.
• Customer-facing mindset: you own problems end-to-end and ensure customers are live and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment of Nebuly in customer environments on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, from kickoff to production go-live.
• Write, adapt, and maintain the Terraform modules used to provision customer infrastructure, respecting each customer's constraints.
• Deploy and operate Nebuly on Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, GKE, and on-prem), using Helm and our release tooling.
• Own the upgrade lifecycle for each customer: plan and run version upgrades, coordinate maintenance windows, and ensure latest release.
• Troubleshoot issues in environments you don't fully control, with customer DevOps, platform, and security teams.
• Support customers through security/architecture reviews by explaining deployment and data flow inside their perimeter.
• Turn recurring problems into product improvements: feed back into Terraform modules, Helm charts, docs, and runbooks.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and customer success to prioritise customer needs.
