This role focuses on building, training, and iterating ML/AI systems that power Nebuly’s core product, with emphasis on accuracy, reliability, and scalability of taxonomies, classifications, and data pipelines.

Join a small, fast-moving AI team delivering production-grade features for enterprise customers, including ROI estimation, PII safety, and model testing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and shipping ML/AI systems in production (1–3 years).
• Strong Python skills with data processing and ML/LLM pipelines.
• Experience with classification systems (traditional ML and/or LLM-based).
• Ability to work with real-world messy data and debug model behavior on live customer data.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or similar data stores.
• Ability to write tests and rigorously evaluate ML systems.
• Strong problem-solving and autonomous project execution.
• Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and iterate on classification and taxonomy models powering Nebuly’s core product.
• Build and extend ingestion and enrichment pipelines at scale, focusing on performance, cost, and reliability.
• Contribute to ROI product work: estimating time saved and mapping cost per hour per class.
• Improve robustness of PII detection models and explore open-source LLMs.
• Contribute to MCP server and AI-facing tooling used internally and by customers.
• Build and maintain a shared automated testing framework for models and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to translate requirements into shipped features.
