Pete Tong DJ Academy in Rome is hiring a CTO to own the platform behind PTDJA and turn it into a product members love. You will evolve a modern, integrations-first stack and develop proprietary product machines while building the data platform powering growth decisions.

You will lead a lean web/IT function, hire the founding engineering team, and drive AI-enabled features, analytics and a data-driven culture in a fast-paced startup environment.

Competenze

• 8+ years in software and product engineering.
• 3+ years leading engineers (CTO/VP/Head).
• Shipped consumer facing products (subscription, app, marketplace) with real users and revenue.
• Buy over build: SaaS blocks (billing, community, CRM, automation).
• Fluent English as working language; Rome-based or willing to relocate.
• Modern web stack fluency: TS, React, Node; still able to review/write code.
• Data tracking and warehouse ownership for analytics.
• AI shipped to production with measurable quality.

Mansioni

• Own platform architecture and integrations (campus, billing, CRM, marketing).
• Own the proprietary product roadmap (artist pages, release manager, gig finder).
• Lead data platform (event tracking, warehouse, analytics) and AI features.
• Build and lead the engineering team (2–6 engineers initially).
• Ensure security, GDPR, uptime and vendor management.
