Celebrity Cruises is seeking an experienced CDP Pastry to lead the pastry galley aboard our ship. You will manage a diverse team, ensure quality and presentation of all pastry offerings, and collaborate with the Executive Sous Chef Pastry Bakery to meet budgets and standards.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to guest satisfaction in a busy cruise environment. You will work with shipboard colleagues to deliver high-end desserts across daily menus.

Mansioni

• Ensure smooth operation and control of the pastry galley and production daily.
• Direct, coach, supervise, and evaluate the pastry team with the Assistant Pastry Chef.
• Oversee production, quality and presentation of pastry and desserts for daily menus.
• Prepare forecasts and record leftovers to control costs and waste.
• Supervise pastry and dessert displays at buffets.
• Ensure USPH rules and regulations are followed daily.
• Maintain cleaning schedule and minimize equipment damage.
• Ensure pantry shops are ready for USPH inspections.
• Coordinate requisition and transport from main stores to the pastry galley.
• Ensure recipes and yields meet company standards.
• Assist with daily pastry consumption recap as needed.
• Coach and train Pastry Cooks.
