CM5M — Ci Metti Cinque Minuti Srls, Florence-based marketing agency, is seeking a mid-level Copywriter / SEO Copywriter. The role spans social captions to optimised articles, newsletters to paid campaigns, with a consistent tone and audience focus.

You will adapt words to formats, brands and platforms while maintaining clarity of objective and voice. A portfolio across formats is required and English proficiency (C1) alongside fluent Italian is expected.

• Three to five years of professional experience in copywriting, content production or digital communications.
• Portfolio demonstrating ability across formats, objectives and tones of voice.
• Italian at full professional standard with at least C1-level English.
• Ability to write concise, immediate copy and longer, well-researched content.
• Understanding differences between writing for social media, advertising, email marketing and organic search.
• Experience with keyword research, search-intent analysis and on-page content structure.
• Familiarity with sources and verification of information.

CM5M is looking for a mid-level Copywriter / SEO Copywriter who can move from a social caption to an optimised article, from a newsletter to a paid campaign, while always keeping the tone, objective and audience clear.

We need someone who can understand a brief, find the right angle, choose the right words and adapt them to different formats, platforms and brands.

About CM5M

CM5M is an independent marketing and communications agency based in Florence.

We work with companies across the food, hospitality, lifestyle and B2B sectors, building tailored projects that bring together strategy, copywriting, design, content, SEO and paid media.

Today, we coordinate a team of around ten professionals and a trusted network of specialists, managing 18 active assignments and predominantly long-term client relationships. Selected clients include Savini Tartufi, Villa Cora, Torre a Cona, Pasta Tirrena and ROSSS.

What you will do:

• Write captions, recurring content formats and copy for social media content calendars, adapting to different tones of voice.
• Develop articles, guides and other SEO content based on client objectives and search intent.
• Conduct keyword research and analyse search results to identify topics, priorities and opportunities.
• Optimise content on-page, working on structure, titles, headings, metadata, readability and internal linking.
• Write newsletters, direct email campaigns and email sequences with informational, commercial or retention objectives.
• Develop headlines, body copy, calls to action and copy variations for paid campaigns.
• Turn briefs and client requests into clear, distinctive copy aligned with the wider strategy.
• Research different sectors and subjects, checking sources, data and information before writing.
• Edit and improve existing copy, recognising what is generic, repetitive or ineffective.
• Manage feedback, revisions and different versions without losing consistency throughout the process.
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, SEO specialists, paid media specialists and project managers.
• Use AI tools to support research and workflow while retaining responsibility, control and judgement over the final result.

Who we are looking for:

• You have between three and five years of professional experience in copywriting, content production or digital communications.
• You have a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to work across different formats, objectives and tones of voice.
• You write Italian to full professional standard and have at least C1-level English.
• You can write concise, immediate copy as well as longer, structured and thoroughly researched content.
• You understand the differences between writing for social media, advertising, email marketing and organic search.
• You can conduct keyword research, interpret search intent and structure content accordingly.
• You understand on-page optimisation and can apply it without sacrificing clarity, natural language or brand identity.
• You are familiar with tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console or equivalent platforms.
• You know how to work with reliable sources, verify information and recognise when further research is needed.
• You can change register without losing accuracy or distinctiveness.
• You welcome editorial discussion and can explain your choices without treating every revision as a personal attack.You are precise when managing briefs, files, feedback and deadlines.
• Previous agency experience or experience managing content for multiple clients is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the food, hospitality, lifestyle or B2B sectors is a plus.

We are not looking for a technical SEO specialist. We do, however, expect genuine autonomy in keyword research, search-intent analysis and on-page content optimisation.
