Giorgio Armani S.p.A. in Milan is seeking an Intern in Controlling to support planning and reporting processes within the Finance function.

You will assist monthly and quarterly management reporting, variance analysis, and planning activities while gaining exposure to IFRS and OIC standards. Fluency in Italian and English, a degree in economics, and an analytical mindset are essential for success.

Mansioni

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting.
• Perform variance analysis (Current Year – Last Year – Budget – Forecast).
• Assist in periodic planning activities (Budget – Forecast – Three-year Plans).
• Support in preparation of statutory financial statements per OIC and consolidated IFRS statements.
• Create periodic presentations and ad hoc analyses by cost center/account.

Context and Purpose of the job

The Controlling Intern, reporting directly to the Senior Controller, will support the team in the company’s planning and control processes.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly Management Reporting
• Variance analysis (Current Year – Last Year – Budget – Forecast)
• Periodic planning activities (Budget – Forecast – Three-year Plans)
• Support in the preparation of the Statutory Financial Statements according to OIC accounting principles and the Consolidated Financial Statements according to IFRS accounting principles
• Preparation of periodic presentations and ad hoc analyses by cost center/account

Requirements

• Degree in Economics
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Fluency in both Italian and English
• Analytical mindset
• Knowledge of international accounting standards
• Curiosity and passion for the sector
• Teamwork skills
• Flexibility
