Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Controller & Finance Business Partner to support a strategic customer. You will act as a key link between Finance, Operations, Contract Management, and the customer, driving financial transparency and aligning contractual agreements with performance and results.

The role combines financial controlling, business partnering, and customer interaction in a highly visible position with occasional travel to Alessandria and base location in Peschiera Borromeo (MI).

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Open Book financial models and tariff structures in line with contractual agreements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Deliver accurate customer financial reporting and monthly invoicing.
• Perform variance analysis on costs, volumes, productivity, and operational KPIs.
• Manage quarterly and annual true-up processes and cost reconciliations.
• Support customer and external audits.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to Operations and Contract Management.
• Conduct scenario analysis and identify risks and opportunities to improve performance and profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support strategic decision-making.

We are looking for a Controller & Finance Business Partner to support a strategic customer, acting as a key link between Finance, Operations, Contract Management, and the customer.

This is a highly visible role combining financial controlling, business partnering, contract management, and customer interaction. You will play a critical role in driving financial transparency, supporting operational decision-making, and ensuring alignment between contractual agreements, operational performance, and financial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Open Book financial models and tariff structures in line with contractual agreements
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

What We're Looking For

• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Experience in structured and complex business environments
• Logistics, transportation, or service industry experience is a plusAdvanced Excel skills
