RINA Consulting (formerly D'Appolonia) seeks a Safety Specialist to ensure construction safety in infrastructure projects, coordinating with senior engineers. The role covers site safety processes, equipment and workers oversight on active sites.

You will identify hazards, conduct inspections, develop corrective actions, and prepare safety plans, risk assessments and method statements, ensuring compliance with DLGS 81/08, CSP, and CSE, as well as RINA QMS.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in Italian.

Mansioni

• Assist in identification, assessment and mitigation of construction safety risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices and conditions.
• Collaborate on development and implementation of corrective actions to meet safety and health program requirements.
• Prepare technical reports of inspection findings.
• Assist in developing project-specific safety plans, risk assessments and method statements.
• Review construction plans for safety compliance.
• Organize and conduct safety training sessions for site personnel.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for construction sites.
• Perform and verify risk assessments for various construction activities and propose control measures.
• Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide day‑to‑day support and oversight of project elements, working with engineering teams on site.
• Develop project schedules and deliverable timelines under supervision.
• Prepare technical deliverables, health‑safety plans, safety and coordination plans, performance documentation and engineering drawings.
• Prepare progress technical reports and ensure activities follow rina qms quality policy.

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction or environment

Qualifications & experience

minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role. high school diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction or environment. knowledge of safety regulations and standards (e.g., dlgs 81/08, csp, cse). ability to identify, assess and mitigate construction safety risks. experience in site inspection, reporting and safety planning. fluency in italian.

Compensation

gross annual salary between €33 000 and €45 000, plus variable annual compensation. company welfare benefits.
