EssilorLuxottica Group is seeking a talented Concept Designer to join our innovation team, shaping future-forward eyewear concepts for house and licensed luxury brands. You’ll partner with Design Studio and R&D to translate ideas into compelling 2D and 3D sketches and compelling presentations.

You will contribute to early product development, work across departments to explore innovative solutions, and bring a hands-on approach to prototyping and testing, driving comfort and storytelling through

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Design or Design Engineering.
• Strong sketching and visualization skills (2D–3D).
• Passion for designing objects that improve daily life.
• Hands-on design processes, experimentation and prototyping.
• Fluency in English with a compelling portfolio.

Your role

We’re looking for a talented and curious Concept Designer to join our innovation team at the forefront of eyewear design. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with both our in-house Design Studio and R&D Department frames and lenses, contributing to the development of future-forward product concepts for industry-leading eyewear brands.

You’ll work on both house brands (such as Ray-Ban and Oliver Peoples and more) and licensed luxury brands (including Chanel, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, and more), helping shape what’s next innovation in the world of eyewear.

Main responsibilities:

• Translate ideas into compelling 2D and 3D sketches and product concept presentations.
• Collaborate across R&D, Proto Dept, Tec DEPT, Design Studio, Brand Teams to explore innovative solutions.
• Contribute to the early stages of product development, from trend analysis to prototyping

Main requirements:

• Degree in Industrial Design or Design Engineering
• Strong sketching and visualization skills (2D - 3D-Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Blender , Creo, Key Shot, AI)
• A passion for designing objects that improve people’s comfort and enhance their everyday experience
• A hands-on passion for design processes, experimentation, and prototype testing to develop and validate new technical solutions
• Fluency in English
• A portfolio that shows curiosity, creativity, and a feel for product storytelling
