Belmond is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Analyst to support reward practices across Italy, Spain, and Portugal. You will analyze pay data, benchmark salaries, and help ensure internal equity for a luxury hospitality portfolio.

You will collaborate with regional HR teams, properties, and the Global Compensation & Benefits team to deliver accurate reports and practical insights for attracting and retaining talent across Southern Europe.

Competenze

• 3+ years in Compensation & Benefits, Reward, or related C&B role, ideally international.
• Experience supporting annual compensation review cycles, benchmarking, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of job grading, mapping, architecture, and internal equity.

• Deliver compensation analysis including benchmarking, market positioning, and internal equity reviews.
• Support international compensation processes with data preparation, validation, and reporting.

As part of our Southern Europe Human Resources team, the Compensation & Benefits Analyst - Southern Europe will play an important role in supporting fair, competitive, and meaningful reward practices across Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

Working in close partnership with regional HR teams, our iconic properties, and the Global Compensation & Benefits team, this role will provide thoughtful analysis, accurate reporting, and clear insights to help attract, retain, and recognise the talent who bring Belmond's exceptional guest experiences to life.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Deliver high-quality compensation analysis, including salary benchmarking, market positioning, internal equity reviews, and salary range analysis, to support competitive and consistent reward decisions across Southern Europe.
• Support the International Compensation Review process with meticulous data preparation, validation, reporting, and analysis, ensuring alignment with group reward principles and local business needs.
• Participate in salary survey submissions and interpret market data to provide clear, practical insights that support informed compensation recommendations.
• Support the implementation of job mapping, and job architecture across Belmond properties in Southern Europe, helping to ensure consistency, transparency, and strong reward governance.
• Prepare compensation insights and reports for HR Business Partners, regional leadership, and the Global Compensation & Benefits Team, translating complex data into clear and considered recommendations.
• Support pay equity, Gender Pay Gap reporting, and preparation for EU Pay Transparency requirements through accurate analysis, robust reporting, and follow-up actions.
• Provide analytical support for benefits activities, including benefits benchmarking, renewals, vendor data coordination, and benefits governance, helping to ensure our benefits offering remains relevant, competitive, and aligned with Belmond's standards.
• Maintain accurate compensation, benefits, job, and employee data in HR systems, partnering with HRIS colleagues to enhance data quality, reporting reliability, and process efficiency.
• Support HRIS testing and system improvements where changes impact compensation, benefits, job mapping, reporting, or reward data processes.
• Contribute to statutory and LVMH group HR reporting related to compensation, benefits, pay equity, social indicators, and workforce remuneration data.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Compensation & Benefits, Reward, Compensation Analysis, or a closely related C&B role, ideally within a luxury hospitality, multi-site, or international environment.
• Experience supporting annual compensation review cycles, salary benchmarking, salary survey submissions, and compensation reporting.
• Good understanding of job grading, job mapping, job architecture, internal equity, and market competitiveness principles.
• Familiarity with benefits analysis, benefits benchmarking, vendor data coordination, or benefits governance would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of European pay reporting requirements, including Gender Pay Gap and EU Pay Transparency, is a strong advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability, with the ability to manage, validate, and interpret complex HR and reward data with accuracy and discretion.
• Experience using HR systems such as SuccessFactors; experience with reporting tools or Power BI would be advantageous.
• A clear communicator, able to translate complex data and reward concepts into practical insights for HR and business stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, a strong data quality mindset, and a considered approach to confidential information.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required.
