Job summary

Valmet is seeking a skilled field technician to install, start up, service, and upgrade packaging equipment at customer sites worldwide. The role requires a technical diploma in electrical/electronics/automation, strong knowledge of electrical components, and fluency in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components and automation systems; mechanical skills are an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service documentation.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of packaging machinery is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel globally for at least 140 days per year.

Salary Range: €31,000-€42,000 gross annual salary (RAL), with classification at C1-C2 level, depending on experience and qualifications.

Employment Contract: Permanent employment under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry and Plant Installation Sector (CNEL C011)
