GE Vernova in Italy is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Specialist – Machining to lead shop-floor operations and drive operational excellence. You will create robust manufacturing standards, including Work Instructions and JSA, while standardizing tooling and guiding complex troubleshooting on high-precision gas turbine components.

The role requires a background as CNC Operator or Shop Floor Supervisor, with 2+ years in CNC programming and Siemens controller experience.

Competenze

Proven history as CNC Operator or CNC Shop Floor Supervisor/Manufacturing Support.
2+ years of CNC programming experience (ISO/G-code and CAD/CAM).
2+ years hands-on experience with Siemens CNC controllers.
Strong knowledge of lathe, milling, grinding, and drilling processes.
Excellent understanding of mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Experience in developing and troubleshooting CNC sub-routines.
Experience in NX tooling design for machining processes.

Mansioni

Standardize work instructions and JSA for safe, repeatable manufacturing processes.
Design, program, and implement machining processes for complex components.
Develop and refine CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (NX preferred).
Standardize tooling and design jigs and fixtures for specific operations.
Provide hands-on technical support on the shop floor with real-time troubleshooting.
Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance SQDC in manufacturing.
