Job summary

Mollie is hiring a Platform Engineer to own cloud infrastructure on GCP, drive automation and manage IaC with Terraform. You’ll ensure reliability and security while collaborating across teams to meet SLOs and deliver scalable payments infrastructure.

You’ll work with Datadog, Google Cloud Logging, and Sentry to monitor systems, improve observability and keep Mollie’s platform secure and fast for thousands of European businesses.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on knowledge of GCP and public cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience.
• Solid Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain critical cloud infrastructure on GCP, including Load Balancers, VPCs, CDN and API Gateway.
• Drive automation across the platform using Go and Python to scale operations.
• Own and evolve infrastructure as code with Terraform and ensure consistency across resources.
• Set up and maintain observability with Datadog, Cloud Logging and Sentry.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and meet SLOs/SLAs for business needs.
• Ship platform improvements balancing speed with reliability and security.
