Job summary

Technoprobe in Lombardia, Osnago, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily production operations in a cleanroom environment. You will ensure execution of the production schedule, optimize workflow, and coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality and Engineering to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires strong leadership on the shop floor, hands-on problem solving, and a solid background in manufacturing planning, materials flow, and KPI reporting to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production, manufacturing operations or industrial environments.
• Proven experience managing production teams and coordinating multidisciplinary resources.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling and execution control.
• Experience in high-technology industries such as electronics, photonics, semiconductors, medical devices or similar sectors is highly valued.
• Previous experience working in cleanroom environments is considered a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning methodologies.
• Experience in materials management, logistics coordination and inventory control.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production management tools.
• Ability to analyze operational data and implement corrective and improvement actions.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles is a plus.
• Strong operational leadership and execution focus.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively on the production floor.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities across the teams.
• Ensure execution of the production schedule and achievement of operational priorities.
• Monitor production progress, capacity utilization and adherence to delivery commitments.
• Manage the flow of materials into and out of the production area, ensuring availability, traceability and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate production resources and optimize the utilization of equipment and facilities.
• Identify operational issues, bottlenecks and delays, driving timely corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity and efficiency of production activities.
• Define, monitor and report key performance indicators related to productivity, quality, throughput and on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with operating procedures, safety requirements and cleanroom standards.
• Support team development through coaching, organization and effective resource management.
