Job summary

Saipem is recruiting a Civil Works Engineer to join the Energy Carriers Business line in Milan. The role reports to the Operational Leader and the Head of Department, supporting upstream, downstream and green tech projects.

You will develop civil/structural designs, prepare BOQs and MTOs, review tender documentation, and coordinate interfaces with clients, vendors and multidisciplinary teams. A hybrid work model is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Civil Engineering or higher with relevant hydraulics/structural focus.
• Experience in energy sector projects and bid support is preferred.
• Proficient in civil/structural design and BOQ/MTO preparation.

Responsibilities

• Support discipline leader to apply standards, procedures and work instructions.
• Review tender docs, identify queries, prepare cost estimates and evaluations.
• Develop civil/structural designs including foundations, roads, drainage and plumbing.
• Prepare procurement tech docs, material requisitions and technical annexes.
• Ensure QA/QC of docs and provide field engineering support on site.
