Tecnimont is seeking a Civil & Structural Project Leader to join the Civil & Structural Department. The role focuses on defining the execution strategy, coordinating with project teams and clients, and ensuring alignment with schedules, budgets, and quality across international sites.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years of civil experience in large plant projects, and fluent English.

• Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience in plant engineering companies in the petrochemical, oil & gas, power sectors.
• Past experience as a project leader and coordinating international working groups.

Mansioni

• Prepare and discuss execution strategy with Project Team and Head of Department, including project schedule.
• Interact with Client as resident Project Leader and coordinate information with home office center.
• Coordinate activities of the discipline across locations, ensuring contract compliance, schedule, budget and quality.
• Interact with Client representatives and Vendors on technical topics impacting time and costs.

Tecnimont is looking for a Civil & Structural Project Leader to join Civil & StructuralDepartment

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• to prepare and discuss with the Project Team (Project Director/Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager) and the Head of Department the execution strategy of the project (including the project schedule) and assure its application throughout the entire project life. For specific topics involving high level of expertise, Civil Project Leader is assisted by Group Leaders;
• to interact with Client as resident PL at office abroad and coordinate the exchange of information with home office center. To cooperate and coordinate with the Project Engineering Manager and the other Civil Project Leaders to create and maintain the project procedures, guidelines and standards;
• to assure the coordination of the activities of the discipline regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers guaranteeing the consistency of the documents with the contract, the respect of the time schedule, the implementation of the contract requirements, the compliance of the assigned budget (both cost and man-hours) and the quality of the deliverables under the guidance of the Project Engineering Manager and cooperating with the other Civil Project Leaders;
• to interact with Client representatives and Vendors for all the technical topics impacting on the project both in time and costs;
• to guarantee assistance to the inspection and construction departments upon request as per project needs.

Requirements and Skills

• full availability for transfers (or live permanently) abroad;
• Degree in Civil Engineering;
• minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering in plant engineering companies in the petrochemical, oil & gas, power;
• past experience as a project leader;
• experience in coordinating international working groups distributed in different locations (engineering centers or sites);
• fluent English speaker and writer.

Contract Type and Classification

• Contract type: Permanent
• Applicable collective agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical (identification code B011)
• Job classification level: Middle Manager

Compensation

The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be € 55.000.

• The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus.
• Any additional variable components and/or benefits, regulated by Standards, Policies and/or company agreements, will be illustrated during the selection process.
