Job summary

Quay Crew is seeking an experienced Captain for a 70m dual-season private/charter yacht, based in Italy. The role requires Master 3000 and charter-captain experience with strong guest relations and leadership abilities to oversee hospitality and operations.

The yacht wintering in the Med for repairs with a Monaco GP start in Summer 2027. Excellent references and a thorough cruising knowledge of the Mediterranean and Caribbean are essential.

Qualifications

• Master 3000 with experience operating yachts above 60m.
• Charter experience as captain with excellent references.
• Thorough cruising knowledge of the Mediterranean and Caribbean as Captain.
• Team player who leads from the front and enjoys the hospitality aspect of the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front and oversee hospitality for guests.
• Captain the yacht for private and charter duties.
• Ensure safe operation and yacht maintenance during voyages.
• Oversee wintering in the Med for repairs and preparations for summer season.

Yacht & Crew Profile

• 70m dual season private / charter yacht
• Wintering in the Med to carry out repairs and maintenance
• Summer 2027 will be a mixture of owner use and charter starting with the Monaco GP.
• The yacht is well set up for charter and has an incredible array of tenders, toys, inflatables and beach set ups.
• The large volume accommodates a generous number of crewwhich ensures the guests are well catered for.
• The owners are charter focused and are generally flexible with dates they use the yacht.
