Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline plc in Parma, Italy, seeks a Capital Engineering Lead to support delivery of site capital projects within the project team. The role requires coordinating building control submissions, procurement plans, health and safety files, and permits, while leading stage-gate reviews and risk management.

You will ensure safe project delivery to budget and schedule with effective stakeholder engagement, while liaising with engineering disciplines and external partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in an appropriate discipline of Engineering.
• Experience in project delivery (cost, resource, schedule, risk).
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary pharmaceutical projects or similar.
• Knowledge of site QMS and regulatory requirements (Safety and Quality).
• Experience in change management methodology and GPS principles.
• Broad knowledge of professional engineering environment and commercial awareness.
• Demonstrated leadership to manage a team.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submission of Building Control and Planning applications.
• Manage procurement plan coordination and submission to GSK.
• Prepare/update Health and Safety File and permits.
• Coordinate change control and site surveys by subcontractors.
• Lead stage-gate reviews and constructability reviews.
• Ensure safe delivery of projects to budget and schedule; manage risks.
