Job summary

Baxter International in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy is seeking a CAPEX Project Lead to shape the site’s future through capital investment and engineering projects for a 1-year assignment. You'll work with the Engineering Manager from technical definition through installation, testing, start-up and qualification support.

You will manage projects across equipment, utilities and plant infrastructure, ensuring GMP, safety, quality, budget and business needs are met.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education.
• Experience in engineering, maintenance, facilities, utilities or capital-project execution, ideally within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Plant Manager and Engineering Manager to define the site investment plan and translate priorities into defined engineering projects.
• Lead projects from definition to installation, testing, start-up and closure, ensuring investments are delivered and ready for use.
• Monitor scope, timelines, costs, risks and actions to keep projects aligned with objectives and enable decisions.
