Baxter's Sesto Fiorentino site is seeking a CAPEX Project Lead to drive capital investments and engineering projects from definition through start-up. You will work with the Engineering Manager to define scope, budgets and schedules while ensuring GMP, safety and quality compliance.

This role blends operations exposure with project management across equipment, utilities and plant infrastructure, coordinating with Production, Quality, Maintenance and EHS to deliver reliable solutions on time and

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education.
• Experience in engineering, maintenance, facilities, utilities or capital-project execution, ideally within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, supplier coordination and reporting.
• Knowledge of GMP, EHS, technical documentation and equipment or utility qualification principles would be an advantage.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and communication skills.
• A good level of English for technical documentation and communications.

Responsabilités

• Define the site investment plan with Plant Manager and Engineering Manager.
• Lead projects from definition to start-up, ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitor scope, timelines, costs, risks and actions.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of equipment and systems.
• Plan activities with Production, Quality, Maintenance, EHS and Engineering.
• Coordinate contractors and suppliers to meet standards.
• Support IQ/OQ documentation and qualification activities.
• Prepare CAPEX documents, cost estimates and progress updates.
• Maintain drawings, manuals and project records.
• Contribute to EHS risk assessments.
