EDAG Italia is seeking a skilled CAD Concept Engineer to develop 3D CAD concepts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will work with design, packaging, CAE, manufacturing and testing teams to translate requirements into robust CAD solutions and to support early vehicle development phases.
Requirements include a degree in mechanical or automotive engineering and at least 3 years' CAD concept design experience in automotive or CV fields, with CATIA V5/V6 or NX proficiency.
Competenze
- Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years of CAD concept design experience in automotive/CV.
- Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 or NX and understanding of packaging and manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills in Italian and English.
Mansioni
- Develop 3D CAD concepts for vehicle systems and components.
- Create layout studies and concept architectures for cars and CVs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize solutions.
- Perform feasibility studies considering functional, manufacturing, cost and regulatory needs.
- Produce CAD models, assemblies and documentation; support design reviews.
