PowerToFly seeks a Technical Consultant to join our international Industry Process Consultant team. You will support customers in their digital transformation by leveraging the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and CATIA solutions to optimize engineering and manufacturing processes.

You will advise on technical possibilities, demonstrate solutions, and guide customers through product lifecycle data management and PLM. Travel mainly across Northern Italy with some international exposure.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role within Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Equipment or related industries.
• Strong and proven expertise in CATIA V5 Mechanical Design or CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of CAD processes, engineering data management and product development workflows.
• Knowledge of CATIA verticals like Composite or Electrical is a plus.
• Experience with PLM concepts and understanding of how engineering data connects with manufacturing processes is highly appreciated.
• Experience in technical consulting, solution consulting, pre-sales engineering or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Ability to create technical demonstrations and explain complex engineering processes clearly.
• Familiarity with scripting, macros or automation processes is appreciated.
• Experience with the Transportation & Mobility (Automotive), Aerospace & Defense or Industrial Equipment industries is a strong advantage.
• Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel mainly across Northern Italy and occasionally abroad (approximately 20%).

We are looking for a Technical Consultant to join our international team within the Industry Process Consultant organization.
In this role, you will support customers in their digital transformation journey by leveraging our 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and CATIA solutions, helping them optimize engineering and manufacturing processes through innovative approaches and industry best practices.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor, combining strong expertise in CAD processes, product development workflows and customer engagement to demonstrate the value of our solutions and support business growth.

Role & Responsibilities

• Advise customers on technical possibilities and business transformation opportunities related to Engineering processes, leveraging CATIA and the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
• Demonstrate Dassault Systèmes solutions in a professional and efficient way, with a strong focus on CAD design processes, CAD/BOM data management and product development workflows
• Support customers in understanding how engineering data is created, managed and reused across the product lifecycle, including the connection between design and PLM processes through integrated 3DEXPERIENCE solutions.
• Define, build and present technical demonstrations, prototypes and business process models to showcase solution capabilities and address customer challenges
• Act as trusted consultant to guide customer to improve engineering processes
• Collaborate with Dassault Systemes Sales, Industry teams and other technical experts to build compelling customer proposals and identify the right solution approach
• Collaborate with Partners and CSI company (Consultant and System Integrator) to jointly engage on specific customers.
• Transfer CAD related processes across internal teams (e.g. SIMULIA, Industry teams and partners) to support the development of integrated solutions and customer value propositions
• Support both pre-sales activities (solution demonstrations, workshops, technical discussions) and post-sales initiatives (customer training, knowledge transfer and adoption activities)
• Develop expertise on new Dassault Systèmes solutions and releases, sharing knowledge internally and with partners.
• Manage customer activities mainly across Italy, with international exposure, supporting clients in the EMED region.
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar technical role within Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Equipment or related industries
• Strong and proven expertise in CATIA V5 Mechanical Design or CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE is mandatory
• Strong understanding of CAD processes, engineering data management and product development workflows
• Solid knowledge of CATIA verticals like Composite or Electrical is considered a plus
• Experience with PLM concepts and understanding of how engineering data connects with manufacturing processes is highly appreciated
• Experience in technical consulting, solution consulting, pre-sales engineering or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Ability to create technical demonstrations and explain complex engineering processes in a clear and engaging way.
• Knowledge of process simulation and validation is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with scripting, macros or automation processes is appreciated.
