TXT GROUP is seeking a passionate C++ Software Engineer to join our development team on-site at the client's location in Roma, Italy. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software, collaborating with QA, DevOps, and product teams in an Agile environment.

You'll work with modern C++ (C++14/17/20), optimize for performance, and contribute to code reviews, debugging, and documentation. A degree in CS/CE and English proficiency are required.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of experience in C++ software development.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++14/17/20).
• Experience with multithreading, networking, and memory management.
• Familiarity with Git, CMake, and Visual Studio.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Knowledge of design patterns and OOP.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Good written and spoken English.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled C++ Software Engineer to join our development team working on-site at the client's location. The selected candidate will be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance software solutions, actively contributing to the technological evolution of our products. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) and using Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of software components using modern C++ (C++14/17/20)
• Application optimization for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and consistency
• Participation in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience;
• Excellent knowledge of C++ (preferably C++14 or later);
• Experience with:
• Multithreading
• Networking
• Memory management
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, CMake, and Visual Studio;
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows environments;
• Knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented programming (OOP);
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields;
• Good command of written and spoken English;

Nice to Have (Plus):

• Experience with real-time systems, simulation, or embedded development;
• Knowledge of GPU computing or graphics engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity);
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and test automation.

• The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 28.000 € and EUR 33.000 € gross per year.
• The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement
