Bertrandt Group is seeking a skilled C++/Qt Software Engineer for a Defence sector project based in Rome. You will design, develop and validate GUI-intensive applications, ensuring intuitive, responsive interfaces while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate UX with core functionality.

The role requires relocation to Rome and offers a hybrid working model, balancing on-site collaboration with remote work.

Competenze

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Proven experience in C++ software development and GUI design.
• Strong knowledge of Qt framework and signals/slots, widgets and layouts.
• Good English communication skills.
• Experience in integrating GUI with backend components.

• Design, develop and maintain software applications using C++ and Qt.
• Design and implement modern, intuitive GUI; leverage Qt main features.
• Manage user interactions, event handling and workflows.
