Bertrandt Group in Rome seeks an Embedded C++ Software Engineer to support development of real-time, safety-critical systems for defence programs. You will design, develop and validate software on embedded platforms running Linux and RTOS, collaborating with hardware, validation and system teams.
The role requires strong C++ knowledge, experience with embedded Linux, RTOS environments and software integration, testing and documentation.
Competenze
- Degree in Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related disciplines.
- Proven Embedded Software Development experience.
- Strong knowledge of C++ and Python.
- Experience with Embedded Linux environments and RTOS architectures.
- Knowledge of VxWorks or similar OS.
- Strong multithreading, concurrency and networking understanding.
- Experience with serial communications and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins and CMake; Jira/Confluence helpful.
- Good English communication skills.
