KION Group in Lainate, Lombardy, Italy, seeks a Software Engineer to join the Automation Commissioning Team. You will develop and maintain C# applications, integrate with automation equipment and AGV/AMR systems, and collaborate with Controls Engineers to ensure end-to-end reliability.

State-of-the-art software architecture practices (SOLID, DI, layered design) and front-end work with Angular/Vue.js will be part of the role; some PLC review (Siemens/Beckhoff) may be required during commissioning.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electronic, Computer, Telecommunication or Automation Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with AGV/AMR or ASRS systems is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for ~50% of time.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2).

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain C# applications for automation-related systems.
• Integrate C# software with automation equipment and AGV/AMR systems.
• Collaborate with Controls and Commissioning Engineers to ensure seamless software interaction with shop-floor automation.
• Develop front-end interfaces using Angular or Vue.js for intuitive control of backend services.
• Review basic PLC logic (Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT) to support system integration when needed.
• Contribute to data flow analysis and task orchestration in WMS/WES/WCS environments.
