Dematic is seeking a Professional Controls Engineer to lead on-site commissioning of electrical and PLC-based control systems across the EMEA region. You will interpret electrical schematics, develop commissioning documentation, and ensure CE compliance with Machinery Directive while traveling up to 80% to customer sites.

Educational background in Electrical/Controls Engineering is required, with a degree preferred.

Competenze

• Educational background in Electrical/Controls Engineering as a minimum.
• Desirable: Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
• Experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA development and commissioning software
• Hands-on experience with electrical commissioning.
• Good understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings
• Good understanding of bus systems
• Understanding of distributed control systems desirable not essential
• Understanding of automated warehouse desirable not essential
• Ability to travel to customer sites for up to 80% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
• Full driver’s license to support the travel requirements of the role.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering

• To interpret electrical schematics and design input information.
• Ensure systems supplied are CE Compliant to the Machinery Directive.
• Commission Safety Related Part of the Controls system solutions to the regulations and in accordance with BS EN ISO 13849/13850/60204 etc.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be 39.000 € - 57.200 € at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Main Job Objectives

• Deliver the assigned project scope and tasks by meeting\exceeding our safety, quality, On-Time-Delivery and budget requirements.

Special Conditions:

• Role will require 80% travel to customer sites within the EMEA European region including travel to other Dematic offices or facilities across Europe in the undertaking of duties.
