Abbott is seeking an entry-level Business Operations Analyst Apprentice in Rome to join the Commercial Excellence & Business Operations team. You will analyze data to improve commercial performance and support reporting and process optimization in a healthcare environment.

You will work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, gaining exposure to key processes and tools while developing analytical and business skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI exposure is a plus.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of professional experience; internship or projects in data analysis is a plus.

The Business Operations Analyst Apprentice will join the Commercial Excellence & Business Operations team and support the organization in improving commercial performance through data analysis, reporting activities, and process optimization.

This is an entry-level opportunity designed for recent graduates who are eager to develop analytical, business, and commercial excellence skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. The apprentice will work closely with experienced colleagues and gain exposure to key commercial processes, reporting tools, and cross‑functional projects.

Major Accountabilities

• Support the analysis of sales performance and key commercial KPIs.
• Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and enhancement of reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
• Contribute to identifying trends, performance gaps, and business opportunities through data analysis.
• Support commercial processes such as :
• Sales forecasting
• Pipeline management
• Performance monitoring
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
• Assist in Commercial Excellence projects and initiatives aimed at improving business effectiveness.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and data summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Support the automation and continuous improvement of reporting tools and processes.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly sales reports and business performance analyses.
• Help ensure data quality and support Salesforce.com (myDash) governance activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality system requirements.

Education

• Recently completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in :
• Business Administration
• Economics
• Engineering
• Statistics
• Data Analytics
• or related disciplines.

Knowledge

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting concepts.
• Exposure to Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) is considered a plus.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Experience

• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of professional experience.
• Previous internship, university project, or extracurricular experience involving data analysis is considered a plus.
