Abbott Laboratories in Rome, Lazio is seeking an entry-level Business Operations Analyst Apprentice to join the Commercial Excellence & Business Operations team. You will support data analysis, reporting, and process optimization to enhance commercial performance in a healthcare environment.

As an apprentice, you will work with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations, build reports and dashboards (Power BI), ensure data quality, and contribute to monthly sales analyses.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business/economics/engineering/statistics/data analytics related field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting concepts; Power BI exposure is a plus.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Primary Objective of Position

The Business Operations Analyst Apprentice will join the Commercial Excellence & Business Operations team and support the organization in improving commercial performance through data analysis, reporting activities, and process optimization.

This is an entry-level opportunity designed for recent graduates who are eager to develop analytical, business, and commercial excellence skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. The apprentice will work closely with experienced colleagues and gain exposure to key commercial processes, reporting tools, and cross-functional projects.

Major Accountabilities

• Support the analysis of sales performance and key commercial KPIs.


• Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and enhancement of reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI).


• Contribute to identifying trends, performance gaps, and business opportunities through data analysis.

Education

Background

Knowledge

• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of professional experience.
