Job summary

Terumo Neuro Europe is seeking a Specialist, Business Development - EMEA to help shape stroke care across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Based at one of our entities (Milan available), the role spans clinical practice integration, market expansion, and physician education, with travel up to 60% across the EMEA region.

You will work with physicians, hospitals and neurovascular teams to advance ICAD therapies, develop Centers of Excellence, and support reimbursement and access initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in neurovascular, stroke, cardiovascular, or interventional medical devices.
• English fluency; ability to work across diverse healthcare systems in EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Support EMEA therapy development and market expansion strategies for ICAD.
• Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, and stakeholders to raise awareness.
• Support clinical cases and gather procedural insights.
• Develop referral pathways between professionals and neurointerventional centers.
• Build relationships with KOLs, stroke neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neuroradiologists.
• Assist educational programs, advisory boards, and physician engagement.
• Contribute to Centers of Excellence development across the region.
• Assist market access initiatives and reimbursement activities.
• Gather competitive intelligence and customer feedback for decisions.
• Represent Terumo Neuro at conferences and customer events in EMEA.

We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist, Business Development - EMEA to support the development and expansion of innovative treatment solutions for Intracranial Atherosclerotic Disease (ICAD) across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of clinical practice, therapy development, market expansion, and physician education while partnering with leading healthcare professionals across the neurovascular community.

What you will do ?

As a Specialist, Business Development – EMEA, you will:

• Support the execution of EMEA therapy development and market expansion strategies for ICAD.


• Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, and healthcare stakeholders to increase awareness and adoption of innovative treatment options.


• Support clinical cases and gather valuable procedural insights to drive continuous improvement.


• Develop and strengthen referral pathways between healthcare professionals and specialized neurointerventional centers.


• Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), stroke neurologists, neurosurgeons, and interventional neuroradiologists.


• Support educational programs, advisory boards, and physician engagement initiatives.


• Contribute to the development of Centers of Excellence across the region.


• Assist in market access initiatives and reimbursement-related activities.


• Gather competitive intelligence, market insights, and customer feedback to support strategic decision-making.


• Represent Terumo Neuro at industry conferences, scientific meetings, and customer events throughout EMEA.

What you bring ?

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.


• Minimum 4 years of experience in neurovascular, stroke, cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, or interventional medical devices.


• Experience working across diverse healthcare systems within EMEA.


• Strong ability to engage healthcare professionals and build trusted relationships.


• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.


• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or Management.


• Strong understanding of stroke pathways and neurovascular stakeholder networks.


• Previous experience supporting therapy launches or market development initiatives.
