Latham & Watkins in Milan, Italy, seeks a BD Senior Specialist to drive strategic business development initiatives and market leadership. The role collaborates with market leaders to support priorities, develop clients, and execute campaigns while maintaining industry knowledge.

The position, located in Milan with hybrid/office presence, emphasizes research, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration across Europe to advance client relationships and firm growth.

Competenze

• Experience in a business development environment within the professional services sector, including legal and consulting firms.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• Providing research, analysis, and reporting to support the identification and development of new clients and the enhancement of existing client relationships

• Achieving fluency in our client base and supporting efforts to identify, pursue, and attain new business from new and existing clients
• Collaborating and supporting on the development of local pitches, proposals, biographies, and directories

About the Role

The Business Development (BD) Senior Specialistis an integral part of Latham’s Business Development team. This role will be responsible for working in close collaboration with key market leaders and colleagues across the BD department to support the firm’s business priorities in Italy to achieve its strategic marketing and business development goals, while developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of industry, practice, market expertise, client mix, matter experience, trade groups, and media. This role will be located in our Milan office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Display excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm (partners, attorneys, business services)
• Demonstrate initiative to work both independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus
• Possess the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and adapt to continuously evolving technology platforms

And have:

• Experience in a business development environment within the professional services sector, including legal and consulting firms
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent

The pay range for this role is €55,000 – €65,000. Placement within the range will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies, in accordance with objective and non-discriminatory criteria. The employment relationship will be governed by the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Tertiary, Distribution and Services sector (CCNL Commercio). #Associate #LI-AJ1
