Job summary

OTB's Marni Retail Team is seeking a data analyst to support the analysis of stores’ commercial and financial performance, collecting and interpreting sales, inventory and margin data to provide management with clear, actionable insights to drive profitable decisions.

You will develop regular reports, dashboards and presentations on business performance and KPIs, specializing in Power BI and advanced Excel, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across an international fashion brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis and retail reporting.
• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of key retail KPIs and the ability to analyze commercial and financial data, including sales, inventory, margins, costs and profit and loss statements.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate data from stores, the e-commerce channel and internal systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze performance on a daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal basis by geographical area, country, channel and store, monitoring KPIs and variances against targets, budget, forecast and previous periods.
• Monitor sell-out, sell-through, stock exposure and product turnover, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending corrective actions.
• Analyze directly operated stores’ performance in line with their market segmentation and geographical specificities.
• Prepare and update regular reports, dashboards and presentations on business performance and key KPIs.
• Translate complex analyses into clear summaries and actionable recommendations for management and commercial teams.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting tools and processes, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Become the go-to resource for updates and report creation in Power BI.
