RINA è alla ricerca di un Architetto per l’area Building Architecture and Sustainability per guidare progetti complessi a Genova, con focus su sostenibilità, fisica degli edifici e integrazione di sistema. Ruolo guidato da divisione Civil Engineering e collaborazione con team internazionali (India/Medio Oriente).

Il candidato ideale possiede laurea in Architettura, licenza preferita, almeno 4 anni di esperienza in design e gestione progetti, con conoscenze BIM (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe

Competenze

• Laurea in Architettura.
• La licenza professionale è preferibile.
• Minimo 4 anni di esperienza in design architettonico e leadership di progetto.
• Esperienza in progettazione sostenibile; conoscenza di energy modeling è un plus.
• Competenza BIM e strumenti di progettazione: AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Suite.

RINA is currently recruiting for a Building Architecture and Sustainability Architect to join its office in Genoa within the Civil EngineeringDivision.

Mission

TheArchitect leads the design and execution of complex building projects, with a focus on sustainability, building physics, and engineering integration. The role combines creative architectural vision with technical performance, ensuring that all projects meet high standards of functionality, aesthetics, regulatory compliance, and environmental responsibility. The Architect would lead technical delivery for local and International (India/Middle East) projects.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the development of innovative and sustainable architectural solutions aligned with client needs, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements with the adaptation of global concept to local standards.

Project Management:

• Define project scope, schedules, and deliverables in collaboration with engineering project managementteams and stakeholders. Monitor progress across all project phases;
• coordination with local consultants and contractors and time/cost control.

Building Physics & Performance Integration:

• Collaborate with specialists in building physics to embed energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and environmental quality into design solutions.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure architectural plans and specifications comply with local and international building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability certifications.
• Guide junior architects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, sustainability consultants) to ensure project cohesion.

Construction Oversight:

• Support site supervision activities, ensuring design intent is preserved during execution and resolving technical/design-related challenges.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, communicating design concepts, technicaldecisions, and project updates effectively. Manage expectations around costs, quality and timelines.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare high-quality technical documentation, presentations, and reports, supporting both internal reviews and external submissions.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

Qualifications

• Professional architectural license or equivalent qualification (preferred);
• at least 4 years of experience in architectural design and project leadership, ideally in integrateddesign environments;
• experience in sustainable building design and familiarity with energy modeling or environmentalassessment tools is a plus;
• strong design sensibility with proven experience in sustainable and performance-based architecture;
• deep knowledge of building codes, construction technologies, and materials in India & Middle East contexts;
• proficiency in BIM and design tools: AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Suite;
• excellent organizational, communication, and team management skills;
• ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural environments;
• problem-solving mindset with attention to technical and design detail;

Compensation Data

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance withCCNL RINA(CNEL code I480). The gross annual salary range foreseen is between€38,000 and €48,000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements. The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
