RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Facility Project Manager to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Property & Facility Management Division.

Mission

As a Junior Facility Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in supporting the project management team within our Global Property & Facility Management division. This role focuses on facilitating the successful delivery of renovation projects that span small to large-scale sites, contributing to the development of architectural and construction projects from the design phase through implementation. Your contributions will enhance our operational environments, driving quality improvements and innovation in workspace development.

Key Accountabilities
  • Project Development & Planning: Support project development, planning, coordination, and monitoring across all phases, from design to construction and operation. Assist in the technical analysis and evaluation of renovation solutions for office environments.
  • Permitting & Regulatory Coordination: Support the coordination of permitting and authorization processes, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and project requirements.
  • Cost Control & Budget Monitoring: Monitor project costs and support CAPEX budget tracking, contributing to the financial control and reporting of project activities.
  • Stakeholder & Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment, effective communication, and smooth project execution. Support the technical and economic evaluation of suppliers’ offers.
  • Documentation & Project Planning Tools: Assist in the preparation and review of technical documentation, project schedules (GANTT), and tender documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Site Supervision & Execution Support: Monitor renovation activities and support site supervision under the guidance of senior team members. Assist in office/site reorganization and relocation activities.
  • Quality Control & Compliance Monitoring: Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to verify compliance with project requirements. Identify and escalation technical, compliance, or quality issues when needed.
  • Communication & Reporting: Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders and support the organization of project meetings and progress updates. Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, and status updates.
Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Master’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
  • 1 to 3 years of practical experience in refurbishment, construction, facility management, or project coordination roles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant technical tools is essential to effectively contribute to design and planning activities.
  • A strong command of English (approximately C1 level) is required to facilitate seamless communication with global teams and stakeholders.

Compensation Data

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480). The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €30.000 and €33.000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements. The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
