Melia Hotels International S.A.(Meliá) in Milano is seeking an Reservations Intern to support daily booking activities and guest services. The role focuses on processing bookings, assisting arrivals, managing emails, and supporting the contact center that handles reservations.

The ideal candidate has very good English, a Degree in Tourism or Hospitality, and a passion for hospitality with strong interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Checking bookings in the system.
• Controlling arrivals.
• Managing email correspondence.
• Support for the contact center that makes reservations.
• Supporting the departments of each hotel.
• Managing payments.
• Miscellaneous inquiries from guests (through direct channels but also extranet Booking.com and Expedia).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: To manage properly all the activities related to Booking Department

What will I be doing?

• Checking bookings in the system
• Controlling arrivals
• Managing email correspondence
• Support for the contact center that makes reservations
• Supporting the departments of each hotel
• Managing payments
• Miscellaneous inquiries from guests (through direct channels but also extranet Booking.com and Expedia)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

• Must have a very good English; other languages are preferred.
• Degree in Tourism or Hospitality;
• Passionate for Hospitality and with a strong attitude to interpersonal relationships.

The role is classified as an INTERNSHIP with an expense allowance of at least €600.

Further information on the role classification, remuneration, any bonus schemes, welfare and company benefits will be provided during the selection process.
