Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Site Manager for our Bologna site to lead operations, safety and customer relations. You will take financial responsibility and drive a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement across a ~250-strong operational team.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and strong experience in logistics, with proven people leadership in complex environments. On-site position with a focus on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Economics or related field.
• Solid experience in Logistics / Supply Chain in complex environments.
• Experience in direct people management within large teams.
• Proven leadership and ability to deploy a site strategic plan.
• Strong analytical skills with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge.
• Customer orientation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations at the Bologna site, owning performance, people, safety and financial results.
• Organize daily activities and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Manage a large team of ~250 employees fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure service excellence.
• Promote standardization, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee external providers for services like security, infra and maintenance.
