Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH in Noventa Padovana is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join the Global Facilities & Engineering team. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance strategies, and supporting compliant manufacturing operations.

You will analyze performance data, lead RCA/RCM activities, manage CMMS, and collaborate with quality, production and procurement to reduce downtime and total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical/Automation Engineering or related field.
• About two years of experience in reliability/maintenance/manufacturing engineering in regulated settings.
• Solid knowledge of RCA, FMEA, RCM, preventive maintenance optimization and condition-based monitoring.
• Proficient with MS Office and data analysis to track reliability indicators.
• Italian fluent and English at least B2 level.
• Experience in biopharma/pharmaceutical manufacturing and GxP.
• Knowledge of Lean TPM and SAP CMMS for asset lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment performance, failure history and maintenance data for reliability improvements.
• Develop and review preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance plans.
• Lead or support root cause analysis, FMEA, RCM and corrective actions.
• Monitor reliability metrics like MTBF, MTTR and maintenance backlog.
• Support deviations, CAPA and investigations related to equipment reliability.
• Ensure proper CMMS use and maintain asset master data and spare parts strategy.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, quality and procurement teams.
