Human Technopole in Milan invites applications for a Research Software Engineer who bridges software engineering, AI, and biomedical research. You will work directly with researchers developing machine learning methods on massive longitudinal health datasets and multi-omics data.

The position offers collaboration with international partners and a path to contribute to scalable infrastructure, reproducible software, and containerised pipelines in a top-tier health data science environment.

Competenze

• BSc in computer science, software engineering, bioinformatics, computational science, or related field.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, and maintainable software development experience.
• Experience with Git, testing and continuous integration.

Mansioni

• Develop pipelines to process population-scale health, genomic and multi-omics data.
• Support training, evaluation and deployment of large AI models across HPC, GPU and cloud environments.
• Help establish software engineering standards for reproducibility, testing, and documentation.
