Equinix in Milan, Italy is seeking an EMEA South Controls Engineer (Italian & English speaking) to ensure performance, visibility and reliability of critical infrastructure across data centres. You’ll work with engineering, operations and technology teams on monitoring, automation and controls systems to keep facilities running at high standards.

You will participate in commissioning, startup and validation activities, collaborate with vendors and site teams, and develop technical documentation

Competenze

• Experience in controls engineering for critical facilities or data centres.
• Fluent Italian and English both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and OPC communications.
• Experience with data collection and controls platforms like Schneider Electric PLCs.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics.

Mansioni

• Configure, onboard and validate assets, alarms and monitoring points in BMS/DCIM.
• Support power circuit monitoring within BCM systems.
• Review electrical hierarchies and ensure accurate documentation.
• Investigate data quality and integration issues across monitoring platforms.
• Participate in commissioning, startup, testing and validation of controls projects.
