Smart Energies is recruiting a BESS Junior Project Manager for its Italian team based in Brescia (Italy). You will participate in developing its portfolio, participate in auctions or oversee construction with the international development team.

You hold a BAC+5 in engineering and bring autonomy, strong analysis, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously. Knowledge of PVsyst and VBA is a plus; Italian and English are required, French is a plus.

• 2 years of experience in renewable energy project management or project finance is a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluent Italian and English; French is a plus.

Mansioni

• Support market analysis and development of tender/auctions strategies.
• Assist in greenfield project development, permits, and contractor selection.
• Support due diligence, profitability analysis, and EPC/O&M contract negotiations.
• Participate in onsite visits and monitoring of construction.

You will participate in the development of its portfolio of projects in Italy, participate in auctions or follow the start of the construction of projects jointly or independently with the international development team of the group :

• New market analysis/research:
  • Energy and ancillary services market regulation;
  • Support scheme for renewable energies and energy storage;
  • Development steps and procedures;
  • Main competitors and M&A opportunities;
  • Business Plan modelling;

  • Tax system;

• Greenfield projects development :
  • Site securitization and obtaining permits and authorizations;
  • Selection of service providers and contractors;
  • Negotiation of contracts with partners and local authorities;

  • Participation in auctions / tenders;

• Transverse support:
  • Due diligence (technical, environmental, legal, fiscal, accounting and financial analysis) ;
  • Implementation of business plans to assess the profitability of projects;
  • Negotiation of EPC and O&M contracts and Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs);
  • Onsite visits and monitoring of construction.
• Business or Engineering School / BAC + 5;
• Autonomy with a strong sense of analysis, organized, motivated, and dynamic;
• Good knowledge of pack Office;
• Knowledge in PVsyst and VBA software is a plus;
• The ability to work in a team;
• Ability to carry out several projects simultaneously, to prioritize and organize his work independently while respecting sometimes tight deadlines;
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly, in both oral and written forms;
• Experience in renewable energy project management or project finance is a plus;
• Italian and English, French is a plus.
