Laveer Engineering is seeking a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician in the Piedmont area to support installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of battery energy storage systems. The role requires an electrical or electro‑mechanical background with high‑voltage experience in renewables.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and control systems, perform preventive maintenance, and document activities.

Competenze

Electrical fundamentals including DC systems and three‑phase AC power.
Hands‑on experience with BESS, solar PV, or wind energy preferred.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.

Mansioni

Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain BESS equipment and balance‑of‑system items.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control issues using diagrams and docs.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per OEM/site procedures.
Monitor performance; respond to alarms, faults, and outages.
Work safely around high‑voltage DC/AC systems per OSHA/NFPA 70E standards.
Prepare service reports, logs, and incident documentation.
Support system upgrades, retrofits, and warranty work.
Coordinate with engineering, operations, and vendors on site.
Travel to project sites; participate in on‑call rotations.
