Job summary

AccuVolt, an innovative company in Bozen/Bolzano, Italy, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the development and implementation of its Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Italy. You will design and integrate electrical systems, coordinate with DSOs and suppliers, and contribute to the project lifecycle from feasibility to operation.

The role requires a university degree in electrical engineering, familiarity with MV/LV installations, and willingness to travel across

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical design of BESS or energy infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong understanding of MV/LV installations and grid connections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary engineering assessments and feasibility studies for BESS projects in Italy.
• Support electrical design of BESS installations and grid connections.
• Develop SLDs, system architectures, and interfaces for battery systems and PCS.
• Coordinate with DSOs, consultants, and suppliers on technical matters.
• Prepare technical documentation for permits and tender specs.
• Assess project options considering regulatory, economic, and bankability factors.
• Review supplier proposals and evaluate technical compliance.
• Collaborate with project development team through lifecycle.
