Job summary

Acqua di Parma Roma is seeking a skilled barber to deliver luxury grooming with precise beard trims, cuts, and traditional shaves. You will perform signature facial massages and maintain impeccable hygiene across the barber station.

In this role, you will cultivate personalized client relationships, upsell products, and contribute to boutique sales targets while upholding the brand’s heritage and elegant image. The position is on-site in Rome.

MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the Boutique Acqua di Parma Roma team, The Barber is responsible for delivering an exceptional grooming and retail experience that embodies the elegance, tradition, and Italian lifestyle of the Brand. The Barber combines technical expertise in shaving and hair care with a strong commercial mindset, offering bespoke treatments while building lasting client relationships and driving boutique performance.

The key responsibilities are:

• Execute professional beard trims, cuts, styling, and traditional shaves with precision and care.
• Perform signature Acqua di Parma facial massages and grooming treatments in accordance with Brand standards.
• Ensure the barber corner and all instruments (combs, scissors, razors, etc.) are impeccably maintained, cleaned, and sanitized after each use, strictly adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Manage personalized client relationships, aiming to upsell and cross-sell products while effectively presenting the Acqua di Parma Brand image and heritage.
• Provide expert advice and compelling information regarding products, collections, and exclusive brand events.
• Drive conversion and contribute to achieving monthly and annual boutique sales targets and KPIs.
• Build and maintain long-term client loyalty through targeted CRM actions, including data capture, contact retrieval, and activity follow-ups.
• Partner with the boutique team to support the organization of in-store events and propose innovative ideas to attract and retain clients.
• Work collaboratively with the boutique team to ensure a seamless in-store customer journey and contribute to collective goals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Barber school Degree or similar is a must and proven experience as a professional barber in high-end or luxury grooming environments
• Strong sales attitude, customer-service orientation, and passion for luxury retail.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a refined and professional presentation.
• High standards of hygiene, organization, and attention to detail

For new joiners in this role in Italy, the initial annual gross salary is starting from 28.000 Euro.

This salary has been determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria and corresponds to the compensation normally granted for this position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organizational needs.

This role also provides for participation in a bonus scheme, at Acqua di Parma's discretion, based on factors such as individual and/or company performance.

In addition to the benefits provided by law, further benefits may be granted in accordance with current company policies.

The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement CCNL Commercio (starting from III Level) as applied by Acqua di Parma.
