Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Torino seeks a Back-End Developer with 2–5 years of experience in Java or .NET to design, develop and maintain scalable APIs and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international setting, contributing to robust software architectures and agile processes.

The role requires strong SQL, Git, and containerized deployment knowledge, plus English fluency; Catalan/Portuguese is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of back-end development experience.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot or .NET/.NET Core knowledge.
• Experience designing REST APIs and integrating services.
• Good relational database and SQL skills.
• Git and software development best practices.
• Microservices knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Catalan/Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable back-end applications.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate with systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code following standards.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases as needed.
• Collaborate with front-end, BA, QA and others.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and refactoring.
• Contribute to scalable and secure software architectures.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning and Daily Standups.
