Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Back-End Developer (Java or .NET) under Italian Law 68/99 to join a dynamic, international team in a permanent role. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and REST APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You should have 2–5 years in back-end development, strong Java/Spring Boot or .NET/.NET Core skills, and experience with databases, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in Back-End Development with Java or .NET.
• Strong knowledge of Java/Spring Boot or .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and web services.
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git and software development best practices.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or Cloud technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable back-end applications using Java or .NET technologies.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate back-end services with internal and external systems.
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following best practices and established development standards.
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including data modelling and query optimization where required.
• Collaborate with Front-End Developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging and continuous improvement of existing applications and development processes.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and secure software architectures.
• Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Meetings and Retrospectives.

Your missions

Your profile

• 2-5 years of professional experience in Back-End Development with Java or .NET.
• Strong knowledge of Java/Spring Boot or .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and web services.
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git and software development best practices.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture is considered a plus.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP is considered a plus.
• Academic background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Fluent Catalan and/or Portuguese and good command of English.
• You have an analytical mindset, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and international environment.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

• Gross Annual Salary (Range: EUR26,000 - EUR 50,000).
• The salary range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
