Job summary
Avio Aero in Brindisi, Italy, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its MRO team to drive shop technical content, define maintenance workscopes, and support non-conformances. You will translate technical requirements into effective shop execution, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure safe and compliant overhaul processes.
The role requires interpreting technical documentation, SDR manuals, and engineering drawings, plus a solid understanding of end-to-end overhaul
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with manufacturing/ MRO experience.
- Experience in aviation MRO business and familiarity with SDR manuals and engineering drawings.
- Fluent Italian and English for cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Define maintenance workscopes and drive shop operations for engine/module maintenance.
- Develop action plans to anticipate and resolve engineering problems.
- Ensure proper documentation of technical data in line with policies and procedures.
- Lead technical reviews and provide guidance to project teams across engineering, quality and operations.
