Job summary

Bosch is seeking a System Integration Engineer – Automotive Applications in Modugno, Italy to advance cross-domain hardware and embedded software integration for next-generation vehicles. You will work on ICs, ECUs, and software architectures across motorcycles, cars, and commercial vehicles.

The role emphasizes HW-SW integration, multi-domain test design, and collaboration with calibration teams, with English proficiency and a proactive, team-focused mindset required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience with in-vehicle networks and diagnostic protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, UDS).
• Strong HW-SW system understanding for powertrain.
• Proficiency with debugging tools and automotive testing hardware.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track software changes; coordinate with function development and calibration teams.
• Debug hardware and software during design, launch, and deployment phases.
• Develop and optimize algorithms; use model-based approaches for rapid prototyping.
• Define, implement, and execute test cases for SiL, HiL, and target systems.
• Conduct xCU system-level testing and verification, including electrical measurements and power management analysis.
• Support vehicle diagnostic protocols testing at the hardware level (UDS over CAN/FlexRay).
