Job summary

Thytronic S.p.A. in Lombardia seeks an Automation Engineer to join the engineering team. You will analyze customer requirements to define architecture, develop SCADA applications, and oversee FAT/SAT, with travel to customer sites mainly in Italy.

Responsibilities include configuring LANs, setting up VLANs, and using IEC 61850, IEC 60870-104, and Modbus protocols. You will manage documentation and work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical diagrams, especially relay logic.
• Basic knowledge of PLC/Codesys IEC 61131 programming.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop SCADA applications and HMI interfaces: database configuration, graphic pages, alarms.
• Configure LAN networks with industrial switches, especially setting up VLANs in radial and ring topologies.
• Use industry-specific protocols for energy/utilities: IEC 61850, IEC 60870-104, Modbus.
• Manage project documentation such as functional specifications, user documentation, instructions, and procedures.
