Aretè & Cocchi Technology is seeking an Automation & Control System Engineer to join the ENCAR division. You will lead detail design, vendor follow-up, testing and commissioning of automation systems (DCS, ESD/SIS, F&G, CCS, MMS, RTU, SCADA).
The role requires 7+ years in Oil & Gas or petrochem, with strong English and Italian skills. Will travel for projects and offers a hybrid work model with a comprehensive benefits package.

As Automation & Control System Engineer, you will respond to the SMAUT Department and be part of the ENCAR division.
Working within the project team as Automation Specialist leading the detail design, vendor deliverables follow-up, testing and commissioning of automation systems like DCS, ESD, F&G, CCS, MMS, RTU and SCADA.
Read, analyse, review and mechanize P&IDs. Develop and review Block Diagrams, Control Narratives, Sequence Flow Charts, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams.
Populate and maintain Project Control Systems I/Os Databases.
Properly interpret and apply codes & standards and customer design requirements, for the preparation of complete set of Control Systems design deliverables (like specifications, material requisition, architecture, etc.).
Attend and perform Control Systems FAT/IFAT and SAT.
In bids project, support the proposal team in preparing man-hours estimation and relevant activities for proposals as required.
Master's Degree/bachelor's degree in: Electronic Engineering or equivalent
minimum 7 years as an Automation Engineer within Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry
English: very good command of written and spoken language, good knowledge of technical English; Italian language: full command.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office software package.
Detailed knowledge, with direct experience with Control and Safety Systems (i.e. DCS, ESD/SIS, F&G, PLCs, MMS, CCS, RTU, SCADA).
Familiar with Control and Safety Systems codes and standards both domestic and international.
SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) knowledge.
You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the site/operating center assigned.
For home office contract: Pay not lower than 34.000€
