Goodyear in Italy seeks an Automation Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot controls and automation systems, ensuring daily production targets are met on site in Piemonte.

You will lead structured problem-solving with 8D and A3, support machine retrofits and continuous improvement projects, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure safe, compliant installations. A strong PLC background and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Electromechanical, Controls Engineering, Automation or related field.
• Around 5 years of experience in tire manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens and Rockwell PLCs.
• Familiarity with electrical drawings and safety standards.

Mansioni

• Maintain and troubleshoot automation and control systems to meet production targets.
• Lead structured problem-solving using 8D and A3 methodologies.
• Support machine retrofits and continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
